Salty Air Home Cleaning is a local, insured and bonded cleaning company in St. Johns County. This is the short version of how it got here.
Nobody would just tell me what it cost.
The Saturday that never came
I’m a single dad. Between work, school pickup, practice and getting dinner on the table, the house was always the thing that lost. Not filthy — just never actually clean. Beach sand living permanently in the hallway. A laundry pile that had quietly become furniture. A shower I kept promising myself I’d deal with on Saturday, for about nine Saturdays running.
So I did what everyone does. I went looking for someone to help.
Five phone calls, zero prices
I called five companies. Two never called back. One wanted to send somebody out to my house, on a weekday, to give me a quote. Another said one number on the phone and a different number once the crew was standing in my kitchen. Not one of them would simply tell me what it cost to clean my house.
Here is the part that stuck with me: the cleaners were never the problem. Every person who actually walked through my door worked hard and did good work. It was everything wrapped around them — the phone tag, the vague pricing, a different crew each time who had to be walked through the whole house again from scratch.
So we built the one I wanted

You get the same insured, bonded, background-checked team on every visit. And if a clean isn’t right, you say so and we come back and fix it.

- The same team, every visit. They learn your home — which floors take what, which room the dog sleeps in, where the good towels live. You are not re-explaining it every two weeks.
- Insured, bonded and background-checked. Every cleaner, every visit. It was the first thing I wanted to know as a customer, so we say it before anyone has to ask.
- Our cleaners keep half. A straight 50/50 on every job, paid weekly, with nothing deducted for supplies or fees.
- You rate every clean. Under four stars and we come back and make it right — free, no argument, no invoice.
- No contracts. Skip a week, change the frequency, stop entirely. Reschedule free with 24 hours’ notice. The schedule is a convenience, not a lock-in.
Small, vetted local teams — not a rotating pool of whoever happened to be free that morning. Every cleaner is background-checked before their first job, and they are insured and bonded on every visit after it.
They keep a straight half of what you pay, every week, with nothing held back for supplies or fees. That is deliberate. This industry loses people constantly, and every time it does, some customer has to start over with a stranger in their home. Paying properly is the cheapest way we know to make sure the person who cleaned your house last month is the one who cleans it this month.
