On a new build it is construction dust, which behaves differently — it is fine, it is everywhere, and it keeps settling for weeks. Either way, book it for the day before the movers rather than the day after. An empty house takes a fraction of the time and costs you less for it.

When should I book a move-in clean?
The day before your furniture arrives, if you can. An empty house cleans faster, costs less and lets us reach the insides of cabinets and appliances that are awkward or impossible once boxes are in.
Is a move-in clean different from a deep clean?
They overlap, but a move-in clean assumes an empty house and prioritises interiors — inside cabinets, drawers, closets and appliances. A deep clean is for a lived-in home and works around your belongings.
Do you handle construction dust in a new build?
Yes. New builds shed fine drywall and sanding dust for weeks, so we work top-down — cabinets inside and out, fans, frames and ledges — and finish floors last so nothing resettles on them.
Do I need to be there?
No. Leave the lockbox code or gate details on your booking. Plenty of move-in cleans happen before the owner has keys in hand themselves.
